With the doors of our newly built temple now open, we at CONCLAVE OBSCVRA welcome you into its halls.

Bare as our shrines and altars may be for now, this is the space that will house our relics, our scrolls, and our collective works devoted to the creation of dark, grim, and macabre arts.

The Disciplines

To begin our journey, we have focused on our Disciplines page. Here, artists of various crafts, be they illustrators, sculptors, or miniature painters, will have select works showcased.

Over time, we will expand this section to include not only more artists, but also more disciplines, such as musicians, writers, and other forms of horror art.

The Herald

As a community devoted to horror, grimdark, and dark fantasy art forms, we will of course ensure that there is a place for news, interviews, and other articles, but also a central space in which to showcase the amazing works, and winners, of our various contests.

For this purpose, we invite you to keep your eyes on The Herald.

The Herald shall continue to serve as a voice and viewport into the inner workings, teachings, and initiatives of our Conclave.

The Origins

For those of you who, like all of us, were Born Beneath Ruined Stars, we have ensured that, in keeping with the sanguine tastes of our order, some of our halls’ scriptures tell of the origins, and the future, of your Conclave Obscura.

For those who wish to further carve the obsidian tenets into thine flesh and mind, our Manifest can be found on our Contact page.

Read its words. Feel its essence.

It is there for the designs of our order, and for those of you who revel in the libation of our atmosphere.

But just as importantly, know that our Contact page is where you may aid us and our Webmaster during this new journey and the launch of our website.

Should a page fail to work, a link be broken, or a carving be otherwise damaged, we invite you to inform us so that we may set things right.

Join Us — and “Membership”

For now, sisters and brothers, we invite you to join us, sign the pact, and relinquish your ego. Enter the halls of the Conclave anew.

Content reserved for membership accounts will come soon, and we cannot stress this enough: at no point will you need to provide coin for access, coin for knowledge, or coin for craft.

Should these halls ever ask for coin, it shall only be for things our hands and minds cannot craft on their own, or for your voluntary donations into our Alms Boxes.

The next chambers, halls, and caverns that we shall work on will house the Teachings of the Conclave.

Tutorials, recipes, techniques, and other written or recorded content that will allow you to hone and evolve your crafts.

We shall draw upon the knowledge and wisdom of creators and artists for the benefit of us all, while ensuring that those who share their teachings receive the recognition and eyes their work deserves.

What About Instagram and Discord?

The torchlit taverns, carrion-ridden fields, dystopian factories, and forgotten abattoirs where we began our journey, also known as the Algorithmic Abyss, shall always be there.

Our new Temple does not mean we will be any less active or present within those realms.

Instagram shall remain a place for each and every horror and grimdark artist to Share, Inspire, and Amplify one another through our connections and collective efforts. This will never change.

Discord was, is, and always shall be the beating heart of our community, where we converse, learn, and teach face to face, channel to channel, peer to peer.

Our New Temple

This, our new Temple, will be where the community finds its digital home.

A place to find. A place to see. A place to share and spread the Dark Gospel to those they meet along their own journeys.

We will always continue to connect artists of many disciplines.

We will always continue to fight for greater visibility for those creating within the darker arts, pushing back against the void of the Algorithmic Abyss.

What we felt on the Second Day, we have continued to feel with every passing day, week, month, and year since.

We have only just begun.
