Surreal Melancholy
Cinematic Atmosphere
Based in The USA
My work lives between the weird space of dark realism and surreal melancholy, with a strong focus on atmosphere, texture, and emotional presence. I’m drawn to believable materials like aged metal, bone, cloth, flesh, and quiet decay.
I use both painting and photography as an attempt to tell quiet stories of dread or mourning. I also write dark poetry, and that same sense of intense emotion that has directly inspired the models I’ve created.
Through shadow, framing, and lighting, I aim to create miniatures and sculptures that feel intimate, haunted, and quietly heavy with presence.
