Grimdark Miniatures
Painter & Sculptor
Based in Czech Republic
I’m a miniature painter fascinated by grimdark worlds, psychological horror, and the stories hidden in the smallest details. Through subtle sculpting, kitbashing, textures, and narrative basing, I aim to transform small models and shift their mood without losing the essence of their original design.
I favour narrow palettes, letting a handful of colours guide the eye. My process relies on basecoats and washes, brought to life through weathering, enamels, filters, pigments, and carefully chosen surface finishes.
Psychological horror is my passion. I explore the physical manifestations of human and creaturely afflictions, drawing on both my own perspective and that of the viewer. Fanatical devotion, deadly sins, and religious zealotry are recurring themes in my work, staying close to the lore while twisting it into something darker and deeply unsettling. Something that feels alive. Something ready to crawl beneath your skin.
Every drop of blood, every streak of rust, every layer of pigment tells a story. What you see in it, however, is up to you.
I believe in quality over quantity, though sometimes that pursuit becomes its own worst enemy, turning the process into a struggle rather than the joy it should be.
