The Alchemical Brush

As an artist who formerly focused more on the classic ‘eavy metal style in combination with experimental techniques and has formal training in graphic design and fine arts I seek realism and surrealism in painting, kitbashing, and sculpting. I play with rendering that is subtle yet visceral.

I dislike the term grimdark as it feels ambiguous and catch-all. I do not view my work as grimdark. I think of it as realism in dystopian horror or dark fantasy. I don’t want to make something grimy for the sake of grime. I want to make something haunting and close enough to reality that it is uncomfortable to look at, yet entrancing.
